Roosmarijn this piece is so incredibly beautiful! Your paintings really enhance my home and stimulate many conversations when I have guests over. Every single person notices and compliments them. This one in particular I like because it takes me to place in my mind that looks very similar to Crescent lake in the Pacific Northwest I’ve been to many times. I absolutely love this work of art and story behind it. It made its 6000 mile journey to Texas in perfect condition. It was a time of soul-searching for me, when I asked Roosmarijn to eternalize the song that I nowadays like to refer to as my ‘anthem’. Roosmarijn’s interpretation was spot on! She literally read my mind and managed to capture my internal journey on the canvas perfectly, using my favourite colours and wordings. I simply cannot stop looking at my heARTsongpainting, and it goes without saying that it has a prominent place in my house. Every time I look at it, I discover a new ‘layer’, colour, or detail. Come Home markeert een zeer ingrijpende fase van mijn leven. De keuze van mijn nieuwe geliefde en mij om onze vorige relatie te beëindigen en voor ons eigen geluk te kiezen, is een van de moeilijkste en meest emotionele beslissing die in het leven voorbij kan komen.
